Weekender

Tried watching Sit Down Shut Up tonight. Not sure what anyone else thinks but I thought it was pretty pointless. I wasn't a huge fan of the animated characters on real life backgrounds. It could get better but the premiere did not do anything for me.

We have been playing a lot of Parcheesi lately. Remember that game? I remember it being a lot of fun but it is incredibly addicting as an adult! To shake things up a bit Ian and I played Monopoly today despite my painful memories of that game causing endless fights. Ian is a skilled and experienced Monopoly player that plays the game in a way I never did. Buying countless houses, making trades, forming alliances. It is much more than I ever remember doing as a kid! Anyways, long story short, I won our game! Turns out buying less houses and just owning all the railroads can pay off.

Started going for a bike ride today only to get scared back home because of rain drops. The rain drops never amounted to anything until about 5pm. I hate impending weather that never impends.

Ian is on training/vacation for the next two weeks. Excited to be able to sleep in a bit and put him to work as my temporary assistant.
