I do what I want!
Wedding dress schmedding dress. My sister and I went looking for a "wedding dress" yesterday. I am not into frilly white gowns, especially for an outdoor wedding. We checked out a local store that carries used wedding dresses and nothing was really calling out to me. I have an old dress that I got from a costume shop that I may try to alter and squeeze into or check out some vintage dresses. Whatever I find it will not be a traditional wedding dress. But that is who I am!

Hope you dont mind a couple of suggestions on places to try. I actually think you should consider taking a quick look at David's Bridal. Their dresses are affordable and I know you are thinking they are all going to be big poofy, ball gown dresses, but they also have some cute, simple dresses that come in none traditional lengths, ie ankle and tea length. You can always stop by and pick up a catalog of their dresses if you are hesitant. Also, I always thought Nordstrom had some nice, simple dresses, but they may be a little more expensive.
